In these examples the individual had portraits taken when they were an toddler and an adolescent and they had been created in “sepia tones”. We scanned them into digital format in order to manipulate the photo for the process.  They remembered the color of their clothing on that day and indicated they had auburn hair.  We added natural coloring to their cheeks, eyes, and lips to complete the colorizing of the photo.  The toddler portrait has more extensive colorization applied for skin tone and surrounding area.
